Panel Glide Blinds are both decorative and functional, a classic internal solution with a modern approach to traditional window fashion. ABC Awnings and Blinds we have a comprehensive range of hard wearing fabrics from translucent to complete block-out and we can also cater for a variance in light requirements. Panel Glides are manufactured from high quality componentry, and are available in a vast range of quality fabrics, including sunscreen (see-through), translucent (light-filtering) and blockout, as well as an exciting range of “Woven Wood” finishes, to suit your décor.
Panel Glide blinds are created from flat fabric panels attached to a simple head rail system by the use of roller-mounted carriers, making them light and easy to operate. The fabric panels can then be drawn sideways using a wand operating system.

Sunscreens & Roller Blinds
Popular, stylish and simplistic...
Often motorised, but also available by chain operation or the traditional spring style, roller blinds are available in a superb range of materials. With a variety of finishes to the base rail available, along with co-ordinating chain and brackets, this style of blind is very popular in both new and older homes.
Roller blinds are also available with a “Day/Night” option, whereby two roller blinds are mounted on one bracket, one blind made from sunscreen (see-through) material and the other either a blockout or translucent material. This gives you the option of enjoying privacy during the day, whilst still enjoying the view through your sunscreen blind, then at night, simply lower the other blind for more complete privacy.

Q: How easy are Roman Blinds to keep clean?
A: Most of our fabrics are treated to resist mould and mildew. However, most marks can be removed by sponging using a mild solution of detergent in warm water.
Q: How do you raise and lower the Roman Blinds?
A: An easy-to-use cord system provides for smooth operation of your blinds.
Q: Will the fabric fade on my Roman Blinds?
A: Mostly normal fading is a natural occurrence due to the harsh UV rays of the sun. The addition of UV stabilisers in the fabric assist to combat this problem, but over time some colour change is to be expected.
